Overview

siteskins
One look at the SiteSkins website and you get a good idea of the quality of this website builder. It’s just not modern, has limited functionalities, and has nothing to offer users that cannot be found elsewhere in a better website builder. Though entry-level packages start at just $7.95/month, that’s money wasted on such a terrible product.

There are tons of templates available, and can be customized to fit your needs, whether that’s for marketing, a portfolio, medical or education purposes, or a restaurant. The problem is that all of the templates are ugly and outdated, and none are mobile responsive. In fact, many of them are built using frames, a method of website building from a bygone era. Additionally, there is no blogging tool, only basic SEO functions, and e-commerce capabilities are limited to integrating a PayPal button. You  cannot download your website either, and e-mail is only available on the unlimited plan.

One redeeming quality of SiteSkins is the good support options offered. Users have access to a large online library of documents that cover virtually all aspects of website building, and email support is available as well. Upgraded users also get phone support, which is a nice touch. However, since this is really the only positive about SiteSkins, it isn’t a website builder that we can recommend. There are far better options – many for a smaller price – than SiteSkins.
