Welcome to website-builder.net

Not so long ago I was where you are right now. I already decided I don't want to hire a designer or any other freelance to build my site and pay a fortune on it, so I was trying to decide which website builder I should use. Sounds familiar, right?

After I did a lot of research I realized that there is no website out there that provides enough information about all the website builders, so someone like me can make the right decision.

That's why after I created my first site using my chosen website builder (see my #1 builder below) I decided to build another site that will save others like me the trouble of searching the best webstie builder. So I reviewed them all, written instructions for each and added extra tips. I hope you like it!

Website Builder Reviews

REVIEW WEBSITE:
SquareSpace website builder is claiming to make it easy to anyone create an extraordinary site and I agree. Although it's not a website builder it offers designs and templates that are not to be found anywhere else. The site editor itself is very easy to use and if you get in trouble they have great video guides. I think photographers, artists, bands and all other pepole who are looking to be unique with their site, are going to find this one perfect. You can try it for free for 30 days so you can experience it and build your site for free.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
WebHostingHub offers a website builder as a complementy service to their main hosting service. Nevertheless, WebHostingHub website builder is definitely on the top 3 website builders. It offers great website templates, great editing features including a custom animated flash intro(!), and a really fair price of $7 per month (or less if you order 3 years of hosting). With this price you also get a free domain, the option to create more than 1 site, unlimited emails and bandwidth and great support. I don't think any other site builder offers what webhostinghub offers.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Wix website builder is probably the most popular website builder out there. It offers hundreds of beautiful templates to choose from. There are templates made for almost all kind of sites but wix is the most popular for people who are looking for a really impressive design, like photographers, wedding sites makers and artists.

    Technical details:
  • Mostly flash templates
  • Free (!)
  • Very easy to use
  • Free support 24/7

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Volusion in an ecommerce website builder. You will find many of their graet templates in our ecommerce website templates section. They will try to sell you premium templates for extra money but their regular templates are really good and you can defenitely make it without their premium ones. Other ecommerce site builders offer their starter package for less (this one is $19 per month) but on the other hand, volusion offer a really easy way to add and display products (as seen in the screenshot in the full review). The features your store can have won't be found anywhere else. Really. Unfortunately, you will not get a domain with the package and this is something that will cost you extra.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Imcreator is a free website builder with really nice templates that look really professional and not old fashioned like in many other website builders. You can create your own site under i-m.co subdomain totally free and it will be compatible to all devices including mobile phones. If you decide to use your own domain you can pay for the basic package which is $8 a month. A fair price compared to other website builders and the solution you get. SEO and analytics are included. This is one of the easiest site builders I used so far and you should definitely check it out.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Weebly is totally free of charge (unless you want to buy a domain). I found it to be one of the easiest website builders ever made. They offer free hosting and tons of themed templates to choose from. The support there is great and if you get into trouble building your site help will come! One of the best things about it is that you don't have to place ads on your site in order to keep it free (like some other website builders do). Overall it's a great website builder, espacially for bloggers.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
netiDnow.com has great website templates. Some of the cost money but they are truely professional. With a new site desgin netiDnow seems to getting serious with their website builder and they might end up on the top spot in our next round of reviews and ratings. Their site editor scetion is really easy to follow and they offer from within the interface a couple of great features including SEO package. You can also build an online store with netiDnow. They have a free trial feature so try it out.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
This site builder is on the top but is not #1 just because there are other website builders with better looking templates. Other than that webstarts is a perfectly good website builder with great support, free hosting and great prices including a free trial. With just $5 you can get your own domain (without the webstarts.com attached to it). You should definitely try it out and check out their templates.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
I have reviewed many website builders and this is one of the best. It offers everything you need from free hosting, vast collections of pre-designed templates to start work with and a great and easy to follow website builder interface where you can customize your chosen template to look like the site you always dreamt of. This site offers a free 7 days trial so you should definitely check it out and note yourself to cancel if you don't like it.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Big Commerce website builder is made only for online store creation. Using Big Commerce you can build your own store with all the features you dreamt of + you will be able to accept all credit cards. It might be dfficult at first as I've seen easier site builders with better UI but if you take it easy and use their wonderful support you can come up with a great online store. The main issue here is the price which is high, but if you are serious about your business it might work out for the best.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Moonfruit website builder offers a lot of really cool templates and has a wide veriaty of them. With the free packages in Moonfruit you are limited to 15 pages that will be find under a moonfruit subdomain (e.g yoursite.moonfruit.com). In order to move to the next level you will need to purchase the basic package for $6 a month. This is a really good price compare to other site builders I reviewed so far. Another really cool thing is the Adwords voucher you can get with every purchased package.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
TalkSpot offers a lot of great templates, great customer service and it's very easy to use. Free domain with purchased packages and free hosting with any package. The site editing section might be the easiest from all the website builders I reviewed so far. Just try it and you'll see what I mean.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
TrendyFlash website builder is a flash website builder as you might understand from its name. TrendyFlash offers really amazing templates with different features, look and feel. As a flash site creator they have a lot more options than regular HTML website builders. The support is great and the price of $60 a year is really competitive. Plus they offer a free trial which for me it means I have to try it. The only downsize of flash is that search engines like Google can't scan it as well so search engine ranking will be a problem. Another thing that could be better is if they would give a free domain like other site builders. Still, in the bottom line you can create great looking sites that will leave an impression on the users.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Cubender is a flash website builder, and as a flash website builder it offers many great templates and a very easy site editor where you can actually create you stie from scratch (or pick a template to work with). Of of their sites are smartphone friendly so that is 1 thing you shouldn't worry about. Shopping cart is only available in the 'jupiter package' which is $29 per month. That's high compare to other ecommerce website builders, but if you are just looking for a small, personal site, the small (venus) package is more than enough and is only $10 per month.

REVIEW WEBSITE:
Basekit offers great templates and their user interface is one of the easiest and most beautiful I've seen yet. They offer a free trial for 2 weeks, and after that the price is just $10 a month and for $20 you can even sell products on your new website. Give it a try...
