Otonomic Review

Otonomic is unlike most other website builders in that it has no templates but relies instead on importing information from Facebook (or, if you don’t have Facebook, the information you input). Otonomic uses artificial intelligence to automatically build websites based on the inputted information, making the process of creating a website extremely simple.

All sites created with Otonomic are mobile responsive, and feature color and typography choices that are modern and pleasing to the eye. The built-in photo editor gives you the power to add filters and effects, while a choice of backgrounds – from colors to photos to videos – allows you to create a nice canvas upon which to place content.

Otonomic includes unlimited hosting on all packages, and Plus members can get email through Google. The support ecosystem is fantastic, with email, live chat, and phone support available. Prime and plus members even get 24/7 support with response times of less than four hours. There is no option to download the site, however.

Pricing is excellent, with a free-for-life plan that has a surprising number of features, including unlimited hosting and traffic, social media integration, and chat support built right in. To add e-commerce, one must upgrade to the Prime package, which runs $24.44/month.

Though some AI-based website builders seem much more gimmicky than functional, Otonomic performed flawlessly during testing. Though it’s overall score is dragged down in the absence of templates, it’s a very well designed website builder that’s easy (and fun) to use.
